Mr. Torabi specializes in the electronic and computer arts and his representative technologies include cloud computing architecture and technology, signal processing, data storage systems, and devices, database and application software, computer systems, communication networks and protocols, lasers and optical technologies, machine translation, speech, and sound recognition, blockchain technologies, and mobile devices and applications. Mr. Torabi has a wide variety of intellectual property experience and has offered services for infringement opinions, non-disclosure agreements, and strategic patent counseling and portfolio management.

An Engineer in Your Corner

Mr. Torabi received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, with a second major in History, from Vanderbilt University in 2002 and his Juris Doctor from Washington University in Saint Louis, School of Law, in 2005. Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Torabi practiced patent law for several regional and national law firms based in Silicon Valley and gained experience in patent litigation as well as patent prosecution. Before law school, Mr. Torabi also worked at the Vanderbilt School of Engineering as a Research Assistant.

Mr. Torabi is a member of the State Bar of California and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Torabi is also licensed as an Engineer Intern in the state of Tennessee.
